Joy will share the joys & sorrows of her life through both hilarious & heart-breaking stories, song & dance. Joy Andersen, a Chicago native, began her 32 yr. career as a trained dancer & is now a sought after choreographer, actor, singer & improvisational comedian. In NYC she performed on the Radio City Music Hall stage as a Rockette & was also a performance coach for Broadway’s Billy Elliot. She has choreographed for the Orlando Shakespeare Theatre & many other venues around town & has taught dance for many years.

Joy has been working for Walt Disney World for over 25 years with shows ranging from dancing in Beauty and the Beast, Epcot’s German Beer Garden & many convention shows, to acting & comedic roles in Diamond Horseshoe, Adventurers Club, World Showcase Players, Canadian Comedy Corps, Comedy Warehouse, Flights of Wonder, judging for American Idol Experience to being the lead singer in Mulch Sweat and Shears. She is currently performing at the Monsters Laugh Floor at Walt Disney World and also teaches master classes for Disney Performing Arts.

Her Orlando Fringe performances in Theme Park Diva & Tappin’ & Yappin’ have made her a ‘must see’ to yearly Fringe goers! Crowds are astounded by her tap-dancing prowess, tickled by her quick wit & moved by her touching detail to character. Her shows are so captivating and fun that you’ll want to ‘press rewind’ & watch it all over again, right away!
