Carol was born in Miami, Florida - where she began her classical piano studies at the age of 4. Her travels as a musician have spanned the globe from Carnegie Hall, New York, to the Montreux Palace in Switzerland, The Oasis Lounge in Hong Kong and Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Carol enjoys composing as well as spontaneous arranging of pieces during a live performance. She may take a child’s melody and turn it “inside-out” in the style of Mozart, and then into a bossa nova, and end up with a Duke Ellington swing.
Carol first started playing with Charlie Silva, on bass, at Rosie O'Grady's back in the day. She loves how Charlie will play any tune in any key with a solid bass line groove.
