Beth McKee returns to the Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts for her Fall Spectacular, an evening of original roots inspired music, and will perform with her Funky Time Band as well as the Swamp Sistas, musical ambassadors for the grass roots movement by the same name.
Downbeat Magazine stated that Beth “honors blues, r&b, gospel and Southern rock traditions just as surely as she gives them contemporary voice in her fresh-as-a-Gulf-breeze music.”
McKee was featured in Orlando Weekly as one of fourteen artists who are reshaping the Orlando music scene. Most recently, she has been spotlighted as a “Central Florida Hero” on WESH2 for her philanthropic efforts on behalf of Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Songwriter Jim Meyers will join the bill, as a special guest.
