An afternoon of jazz featuring trumpeter and vocalist Bobby Pickwood, Per Danielsson on piano; Doug Matthews on bass and Greg Parnell on drums.

Trumpeter/Vocalist Bobby Pickwood began his musical career in 1972 at Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills,California. Bobby served as president of the varsity band before graduating with a music scholarship to California State University, Northridge while performing his way through the D,C,B, and A Jazz Ensembles on the Jazz trumpet chair. During that time, he also formed his own Jazz quartet, The Jazz Cookbook. As a freelance musician, Bobby moved to Las Vegas to perform with the Cotton Club on Parade Show at the Aladdin and Dunes Hotels in Las Vegas,Nevada. In 1989 Bobby moved to Orlando,Florida to work full time for Walt Disney World. In 1990 Bobby joined Bill Allred’s Classic Jazz Band and has performed at world and nation wide Jazz festivals and concerts as a sideman and vocalist. For the past 27 years Bobby has served as leader of the Sunday-Monday Grand Floridian Society Orchestra at Disney’s Grand Floridian Hotel.
