When musicians compliment each other, they use the term “monster.” It’s the highest praise. It means you are playing at the top of your game. We’ve decided to create a new series featuring the monsters who live and work among us, and we’re making those shows available to their biggest fans… musicians. Our JazzPro series will take place on weeknights, so that other musicians (normally working on weekends) can attend, with special discounts for professional musicians and students. Muggles (non-musicians) also welcome.

Larry Williams Monktet is his latest project leading an all star band including Terry Myers, Dan Jordan, Dave MacKenzie, John DePaola, Jeff Green, Mark McKee, and Roger Patinaude, with Maestro Williams leading the band through a rousing collection of Thelonious Monk tunes.
