Kalinka Tango returns to Blue Bamboo to present their program "Tanguissimo".

Violinist Olga Ferroni and her group Kalinka expertly merge contemporary with the traditional. This alluring program will include several classic Argentinian tangos from the golden age of the 1920, 30s and 40s together with Tango Nuevo by Astor Piazzolla, and European tangos.

Incorporating other music styles and genres into tango is what makes Kalinka performances unique and unforgettable. The improvisations and cadenzas add to their distinctive sound.

Kalinka Tango is Olga Ferroni - violin, Krystof Srebrakowski - piano, and Doug Mathews - bass.
