We created the JazzPro Series to showcase some of the monster talent among us in Central Florida. This weekly Wednesday night series highlights local and touring artists of extremely high caliber. These are shows that you won't want to miss!
Award-winning jazz pianist Tamir Hendelman presents a solo piano program that is guaranteed to delight. In his playing and arrangements he explores jazz standards, Brazilian music, and blues, all through the lens of his Israeli roots.
Tamir has been a member of the Jeff Hamilton Trio and Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra since the early 2000s. He has performed with such notables as Barbra Streisand, Natalie Cole, Phil Upchurch, James Moody, Tierney Sutton, Harry Allen, Teddy Edwards, Warren Vache, Houston Person, Jeff Clayton, Nick Brignola, Gladys Knight, and John Pizzarelli, to name just a few. Tamir has been in steady demand as pianist and arranger, touring the US, Europe and Asia, and receiving awards from ASCAP and National Foundation For Advancement in the Arts.
