Join us for another installment of the JazzPro Series, highlighting local and touring artists of extremely high caliber. Featuring LaRue Nickelson, with Dan Jordan - flute/sax, Doug Mathews - bass, and Walt Hubbard - drums.

LaRue Nickelson is a jazz guitarist and composer from the Tampa Bay area. His shows feature original music, which is poignant, progressive, and extremely moving. LaRue possesses a great imagination as an improviser and composer, showcasing his guitar chops in a voice that is uniquely his own.

As well as an impressive recording and performing resume, LaRue is a composer with more than 100 compositions to his credit. He has released three solo projects, titled "Dark Water", "Labyrinthitis" and "Down…and Out", and has written for two Mel Bay anthologies.
