The Boneshakers, a band that blends funk, rock and blues, are led by world-renowned guitarist Randy Jacobs of Was (Not Was) fame, cowriter of the 1987 hit “Walk the Dinosaur” with Don Was and David Was. Randy has toured and recorded with numerous artists including Bonnie Raitt, BB King, Seal, Kris Kristofferson, Tears for Fears, Paula Abdul, Warren Hill, Euge Groove, Mindi Abair, Rick Braun, Dave Koz, and many others. Joined in 2022 by vocalist Jenny Langer, the powerhouse singer who was inducted into the Virginia Blues Hall of Fame at the age of 28, their album One Foot in the Groove climbed to #1 on the UK and US Blues charts.

Earlier this year, Gulf Coast Records (founded by Mike Zito and Guy Hale) signed The Boneshakers and released the band’s 11th album, Live To Be This, on July 18th, which debuted at #9 on the Billboard US Blues Albums chart and at #29 on the UK Blues chart.
