Led by guitarist and vocalist Mike Quick, playing his vintage 1955 Gibson ES-175, the band features Bill Bairley on keys, WaDu on bass, and Tony Rice on drums. The result is a sound that channels the soul and swing of Ray Charles, George Benson, Jimmy Smith, and James Brown - all rolled into one night of hot, funky jams. With rhythms that anyone can latch onto and soloing that lifts the music higher, every performance is a groove-driven journey through classic soul and jazz fire.
