Are you good at giving compliments but never have the opportunity? Do you strive to see the silver linings in others, do you yearn to uplift your fellow persons but never get the chance? Could you use a kind word in your life right about now? If this sounds like you, come out and enjoy a night of positive creativity and a celebration of the best in all of us, as Orlando Poetry Slam presents the Compliment Slam! Contestants trade compliments in tournament style competition, where the winner receives $50 and everyone else gets to bask in appreciation and good will. Join us as we seek to bring joy to each other in an effort to make the world a little bit brighter. If you think you have what it takes or you simply want to pay unabashed tribute to another human being, sign up starts at 7:00 pm, show starts at 8:00 pm. At the worst, you take home a compliment that hugs your soul, maybe win some cash, or go home feeling the generosity of another. Don't miss the feel good hit of the summer!
