Houston, Texas native Solomon Jaye studied Voice as a Bachelor of Musical Theatre at Oklahoma City University. Jaye trained as a tap dancer under Heather Cornell (Director of the Manhattan Tap Ensemble), and the late Robert L. Reed (Founder of the annual Robert Reed St. Louis Tap Festival).

Solomon Jaye taps into “high energy soul” with his unique fusion of original and classic R&B / Soul music, astonishing acrobatics, and his trademarked ElektroTap dancing which brings the classic art of tap dance into the 21st century. Jaye is an accomplished singer, songwriter, guitarist, dancer and acrobat. He delivers vocals reminiscent of Marvin Gaye and Bruno Mars with movement that hints of James Brown and Michael Jackson. Jaye is choreographer and member of 'Evolution Motown' as well as a creator of the international vocal group, 'The Edge Effect'. He is a featured songwriter and performer on the Grammy considered album, 'Alphabet Radio’.

 Jaye has written, recorded, and captivated audiences in the US & Internationally with GRAMMY winners and nominees Pentatonix (from NBC’s Sing-Off), Jessie J., MKTO, Robin Thicke, Jazz phenom Mindi Abair and Broadway stars Shoshana Bean and Alyssa Fox.  ASCAP Member and Voting Member of The Recording Academy (N.A.R.A.S.), Jaye is a solo Headliner for major corporations and Cruise lines;  Royal Caribbean, Princess Cruises, Celebrity Cruises,  Kia and Disney. He wowed crowds at the Florida Music Festival, SunFest Music Festival, and Levitt Amp Concert Series. Jaye also performed in Las Vegas at the famed Palms, Rio, and Gibson Showrooms. He currently tours as an Orlando-based artist and headliner. He recently announced the release of his live album "Live: In Extraordinary Colors" a follow up to his debut solo album, 'Ordinary Man' (Produced by GRAMMY winner Clark Germain & Jamey Tate).
