Ella & The Bossa Beat are back to perform live at Blue Bamboo, with a special intimate show as a trio, featuring Ella Borges on Vocals and Piano, Magrus Borges on Drums and Marco Bojorquez on Bass. They will be performing some Brazilian Jazz standards along with original music from their latest CD “My Remedy” and upcoming EP.
Ella & The Bossa Beat is a band that incorporates a mixture of Pop, Soul, Jazz, and Brazilian influences, founded by Ella and Magrus Borges.
Ella Borges was born in Miami, FL and raised in Brazil. She sings, plays piano, guitar, writes lyrics, composes, and co-produces with Magrus Borges. Ella at age twenty, presents a very unique style, given her roots from Brazil, and soulful voice.
Magrus Borges, drummer/composer/producer from Brazil, played and recorded with many international artists such as: Shakira, Grace Jones, Astrud Gilberto, and currently touring with Bebel Gilberto. Magrus is a Grammy nominee together with Bebel Gilberto, for her newest CD "Agora." Magrus has recorded six original CDs, and produced for various artists. He plays drums and co-writes the songs with Ella Borges.
Ella and Magrus released their original album "My Remedy," and are currently finalizing their EP "Speak From The Heart".
