The John DePaola Quintet pays tribute to Ella Fitzgerald - America’s “First Lady of Song" with special guest Suzy Park!

Ella Fitzgerald was the most popular female jazz singer in the United States for more than half a century. In her lifetime she won 13 Grammy Awards and sold over 40 million albums.

This unique program will feature Ella's well known selections and other material arranged for Suzy Park and the Quintet by David Mackenzie.

John DePaola is a freelance trumpeter in Orlando, Florida. His style of jazz improvisation radiates warmth and is complimented by his ability to create melodic solos. He performs regularly at jazz societies and various venues in central and southern Florida.
