Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts is proud to present the 2021 Wisconsin Area Music Industry Jazz Artist of the Year. Mr. Chair is an unpredictable and thrilling musical experience for fans of all musical backgrounds.
Four musicians look like a jazz combo, enchant like a string quartet, and electrify like a rock band. As classically-trained performers well-versed in electronics, prog rock, world music and beyond, Mr. Chair is a fusion ensemble with a fresh and authentic sound.
Mr. Chair's music is sometimes delicate and sweet; sometimes thrashing with unbridled energy and conviction. They are currently touring new boundary-pushing music from their upcoming second studio album.
