REUNION IN ORLANDO, PART DEUX: THE SCOTT WHITFIELD JAZZ ORCHESTRA SOUTH!!
A follow-up to last April’s “Reunion” concert, this evening will hearken back to Scott’s time in Orlando, during which he led his 12-piece big band and composed and arranged many pieces for the band. Expect a mixture of standards and originals, MANY of which have been NEWLY written especially for this performance! Joining Scott on stage: Dave MacKenzie, Dan Jordan, and Terry Myers, reeds; Charlie Bertini, John DePaola, and Matt McCarthy, trumpets; Jeff Thomas, Corey Paul, and Will Nestler, trombones; and a stellar rhythm team of Mark McKee, Charlie Silva, and Eddie Metz!!
