Kalinka Entertainment is back at the Blue Bamboo to present their group “Kalinka Klezmer'', showcasing a program called “Hanukkah Celebrations”.

This program will consist of traditional compositions performed during Hanukkah, such as Maoz Tzur, Chanukah Oh Chanukah, Sevivon, Mi Y’malel, and I Have a Little Dreidel. Other familiar selections will include a Fiddler on the Roof medley, and traditional Klezmer dance forms like bulgars, sirbas, and freilachs.

Kalinka Klezmer is a 5 piece ensemble of clarinet/saxophone, violin, piano, bass, and drums. They are guaranteed to blow you away with their musicianship and virtuosity.

Violinist and leader of Kalinka, Olga Ferroni, grew up in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, absorbing this unique genre in the area that many consider the heart and artistic community of Klezmer.
